OWL 2 and SWRL Tutorial

This page explains the Web Ontology Language OWL 2 to us who are visually oriented. It also shows how to use an OWL ontology with SWRL rules from Java code by calling a reasoner. Please note that this page describes OWL version 2, which can be processed only by tools designed for that version, like Protege 4, OWL API 3 or Pellet 2. Tools designed for the older OWL version 1, like Protege 3, will not work with the examples.
